Prices will Rise on Friday

I’ve just got off the phone with the team at the A-nah condo project. This is the early-in opportunity I told you about in Mexico’s Playa del Carmen last month. As I expected, their pre-release condos have been selling fast. That’s what happens with strong opportunities like this. These condos come with spacious terraces and have been snapped up. That’s why they have brought forward a planned price increase on ground-floor units to this Friday, July 19 at 6.00 p.m. ET. A one-bedroom, ground-floor condo is set to rise in price from $144,000 to $154,000. These condos are selling like hot cakes and construction is moving forward.

I'm writing to tell you about a special opportunity in Costa Rica. My contact on the ground, Steve Linder, has arranged a private members-only trip to the Southern Zone for our little insider group. I've visited several times and I'm always struck by the area's natural beauty. Stretching from the beach town of Dominical to the chic village of Ojochal, the Southern Zone is a rugged wonderland of pristine mountain tops blanketed in lush green rainforest that plummet dramatically toward the deep blue ocean.

As a member of our little group, you will know that Ireland's economy and real estate market is in deep distress. Property sales had all but stopped until firesale auctions came to the country in April 2011. After a series of these sales, market clearing prices were set. Sale prices were 50% to 90% less than peak prices. Today, we're two years on... and you can now buy at prices comparable to these auctions through regular channels.

I've just returned from my first scouting trip to Panama's mountain country of Boquete in five years. Back in 2007 to 2008, the market became frothy and prices too high. I stopped visiting until now. This time, my trip threw up some interesting opportunities. The most significant development I noticed in Boquete is how real estate prices are at their lowest in almost a decade. I'm working on some special situation RETA members-only deals there which I will be telling you about in the coming weeks.

An opportunity on Spain's Costa del Sol has my attention today. But upfront I'd like to draw your attention to a two of things: 1. My lawyers haven't reviewed the paperwork relating to this deal or the mortgage offer. 2. I visited this area on my last scouting trip and stood outside this building. But I haven't seen inside. Despite these two things, I think you should know about the opportunity today because my hunch is the units will sell out before I make my next visit.

I’m just back from my second scouting trip to Mexico’s Riviera Maya this year. I’m excited to tell you about a new strong early-in opportunity in a project I visited. Before I tell you about the deal, let me remind you about the Path of Progress I’ve seen in this region. Not too long ago, Playa del Carmen, the jewel in the Riviera Maya, was a small village with sand streets. In the last 10 years, it rapidly became a hip beach town.

I'm writing to you today to remind you about a great deal we have on lots in northeast Brazil—but the prices will go up in three more days. Brazil is famous for its endless miles of white-sand beach, turquoise lagoons and buzzing city beaches. For many decades Brazil was regarded as the country of the future. The world looked on in envy at her beaches, beautiful people and staggering potential to be one of the world's richest places. Today, Brazil has arrived. It's a global power broker. It's the world's sixth-biggest economy.
