This is my first visit to Placencia. And, I'm charmed. Placencia is a 16-mile-long spit of land that forms a peninsula in southern Belize. On the west, you have the protected lagoon—a boater's and nature-lover's paradise.

Although Costa Rica only has two seasons, it seems the change of season still rolls around in the blink of an eye.
