    Which is the easiest border crossing into Panama?

    Paso Canoas is the best way to get into Panama. Lots of transportation options and easy access to the rest of the country.

    Oh, I should mention that Paso Canoas is a huge duty free area for electronics, clothing, shoes, just about everything – so be sure to stop in the shops.

    Can you explain how the the duty-free works? Can I bring anything I buy in the zone into CR without paying duty? Is there a limit to how much I can import into CR and how often?

    The limit is $500 worth of items duty free every six months for legal residents, including those on pensionado status.
