Breakfast at Hotels in Ecuador

I have been looking through the guidebooks and noticed that almost all hotels and most hostels serve breakfast as part of their rate per night. Can someone tell me what kind of breakfast that might be. I have no idea what Ecuadorians eat for breakfast.

Fruit and fruit juice, a roll or bread of some kind, maybe some eggs, coffee or tea or hot chocolate.
