can you recommend an attorney

Can anyone recommend an honest, reliable attorney who could handle our Ecuador home purchase and immigration needs?  A year ago we began the purchase of a new home in Jama Campay and we are having major difficulties in dealing with the developer/building contractor.  We hired Roberto Moreno to represent our legal interests, and he is a very nice man, but he has been too busy to provide adequate service.  He has let us down badly.

We would like to find a new attorney who is based in Manta or perhaps Quito.

He’s a nice guy, but we’ve lost touch with him over the last decade so this is not really a recommendation… but you could chat with him and see how you feel about him. Someone else on this forum may have a better suggestion for you.
