My wife and I are investigating moving to Ecuador and we would like to find out if there are care/housing facilities available to seniors once a person is unable to look after themselves, and how much these typically cost. THanks

Yes there are. You’ll find them in both Quito and Cuenca. Not sure about costs but let me see if I can find more info for you.
