    Hello –

    US Expat looking for the best places to settle permanently in the EU tax-wise. I’ll have a pension, social security, and a 401k-like account (TSP). From the research I’ve done, it seems even the combinatiom of the first two will put me in a 40%+ tax bracket, if they are considered income. I understand about the offset in the tax treaties. Looking for a side by side comparison of passive income tax rates, as I am flexible as to where I settle.
