Croatia

I’m new to International Living and to the idea of retiring abroad, but I’m catching up fast! One country that is real intriguing to us is Croatia, although we hear very little about it on this website, nor is it typically listed as a great place to retire. We will be there in September to check it out for the first time. Does anyone have any opinions about pros/cons for Americans retiring to Croatia. It seems to be a fantastic country – perhaps the hottest spot in Europe now.

Thanks. I’ll post my observations about Croatia after we return from a trip there next month. Everything I’ve seen on YouTube makes it look outstanding!
