Has anyone gone through the process of designing and successfully constructing a custom home in Costa Rica?

I would be interested in learning about pitfalls in the process.

You may want to look for this lady’s reports on Welovecostarica.com. She went through the whole process and had a series of postings with pictures, video and some discussion on costs.
