Exploring Ajijic

Hello! My husband and I are doing a little scouting trip to Ajijic in September. Looking for suggestions on where to stay. Other suggestions welcome, too!

I went on a scouting trip in June and fell in love with Ajijic. Housing on a permenant basis is challenging and I am wondering if Chapala offers a similiar vibe, lifestyle?

Hi Susan, yes Chapala is right next to Ajijic and you can walk between the two so you’d love Chapala as well. I’ve met people who live there and love the relaxed lifestyle, culture, food, and everything about the area. That explains why it’s got one of a largest expat communities in Mexico!
