With the cost of American inflation snd continued rising costs, we are looking to retire abroad, permanently, in order to make our funds last longer. (We are not looking for citizenship because my understanding is that America doesn’t allow for that, but a Visa to stay indefinitely and permanently.)
It seems like, many countries are wish-washy with Visa’s only lasting a year or you need to leave the country for 3 months. This would not be a viable option for us.
Can you suggest countries where we could live and retire indefinitely.
We prefer warm weather.
We do not enjoy cold weather – a month or so of cooler weather would be fine, like North Macedonia. But nothing too chilly for longer periods of time.
