Next stop France

Hello,

I’ve been investigating places in Europe to live for a year or two. Just returned from Portugal and Southern Spain. Next I’m going back to France. I want to live close enough to swim in the mediterranean sea. I’ve been to Villefranche sur Mer and liked it, but it was pretty crowded and had alot of traffic. I want to continue exploring other areas in Provence and near a train line. What are your thoughts on Menton? And, do you have any other areas close to sea, with a quiant charming town center, not too large and not overly crowded or pricey. Thank you, Jennifer
