Ojochal, Tres Rios, Chontales anyone?

Hi All,
Just joined the CR Insider and wanted to say hi to any future neighbors in the Ojochal, Tres Rios and Chontales area. We bought a lot in Chontales a few years ago for retirement in another 3 to 5 years. Until then, we go down on vacation every May for a few weeks. Was hoping to share info or insights on all things Costa Ballena, Osa and the Zona Sur.

Hi Sean, Where did you buy your lot? Was it with any particular developer? Do you mind me asking the price? My hubby and I are considering retirement in CR. Thanks, Heather and Chris, Ontario, Canada.

Heather, we bought into the Pacific Lots / VDP development in Chontales just a few minutes south of Ojochal. It’s a fully usable 1/3 acre with utilities and a “10” mountain view. Was listed for 60K and we paid 38.5K. 1200 sqft home with pool and landscaping will come in under 200K including the lot… Sean
