Places for seeing Live Theatre?? Dancing (Ballroom/Latin/Swing)

Hi! I’m new here. I’m a beginner playwright and really enjoy theatre here in Chicago. Aside from London, where can I have access to Live Theatre?
Also, love to Dance!! Are there communities where there’s access to dance studios or ballrooms, bars, classes?
