Spicerfam, very sorry for the inconvenience. This dang forum has been the bane of our existence with hosted events–we recently (behind the scenes) “relocated” the whole forum in a bid to fix the problem. And the last event came off without a hitch… yet now we had an issue again today. But only for some of you–for some the broadcast was working fine. Technology!!! I hiope you were able to tune in eventually and found it useful.

Hi Andrea, for Mexico, yes you have to apply in country once you have your residency. To fine the INAPAM Office closest to where you will be living, just have a quick Google search and it will list them.
You have to be over 60 to apply and a resident of Mexico. As I said, some offices are. not issuing them to those with Temporary Residency, only Permenant Residency, so that’s something to be aware of.
It’s easy to apply, just take your proof of age, identity, and residency card and that’s it!

@Gregory – It often depends on size, breed, and time of year (for weather).

Rules are changing all the time for pets, but I would check specifically with these airlines.
JetBlue Airways
Alaska Airlines
American Airlines
Avianca
Copa Airlines

I have heard people here in Costa Rica using Pet Lounge CR. It is expensive, in my opinion, costing from $2,500–$3,000+ per dog.
