Want to move, but not sure where for retirement and to get out of US

Hi I am JoAnn and looking to move in the next year or 2. I have been to Costa Rica, and Barcelona and Paris, not feeling it in those places. I am drawn to Portugal, Italy, maybe Panama or Carribbean. I have no relatives to move for dual citizianship, but want to live someplace warm, beautiful, less expensive than US, and to be part of a community abroad with xpats and locals.
