My husband and I would like to retire in the Puglia region of Italy. We will not be eligible for retirement for about 5-7 years. Is it too early to start researching? As funny as it sounds, we’ve never even visited Italy. However, we’ve been dreaming about it for a long time. We want a slow, budget conscious, low-stress life, in a southern location as close to the coast as possible.

How do I find out the rules and steps to take to move to Italy and become a resident/expat?
