Thank you both (Helen and Brian) for your responses. I think we’re seriously considering Ireland. Now we just have to figure out how to go about doing this. We’re probably going to go there for a couple of weeks first in order to do some exploring of different areas. The westcoast is where we’re starting.
We are both in our very early 70s, and in relative good health. Still, finding a place that has good healthcare is critical. We don’t want to live in a city. Rather, we prefer to be about 30 minutes outside a major city. My partner still works. But he can do his work remotely using the Internet. So obviously, wherever we go needs to have good internet service.
