But what I am looking for is a group that will facilitate application for an Italian Passport ‘by blood’ , in Italy. I have read in IL about indiviauals who have applied for and obtained the passport after establishing ‘residence’ in a commune. Apparently there are organizations that do that; handle document searches, renting a residence, accompanying to meetings, translating documents, the whole package or whatever piece is relevant. I found a couple of these through a Google search. Just hoping that you might have a recommendation from someone who went through the process, like the Russos featured in the latest IL post.
