    Thank you for your post. I am new to IL and ready to retire in about 1.5 years, sooner if I can. Portugtal is very popular, but like you I would like to live outside a city someplace with community and Expats. Also want to experience the culture. Been to Spain, not really for me, but Greece, Portugal, Italy all sound great. Not sure how to begin? Thanks,
