Good morning Bekah. Hope all is well!
Plans are finalized. I’ll be staying near Grecia for the 2 months starting Mid January. Made connections through your link which really helped put it all together. When I venture your way maybe we’ll be able to get together. Thanks again, Bob

just got a quote for renting a car for two months from Adobe. I was shocked at the cost. Is there a less expensive alternative to $3500 for two months? That is a deal killer. One Airbnb is in San Ramon. The second is a ways outside of Cartago.

Chip , I was looking at Syracuse on Sicily. Didnt look very expensive. Im single so a 1 BR furnished would do it. Is the visa requirement different than Italy proper? How long can you stay on a passport? Any other insights are welcome.

The short answer is the US and Portugal ( along with other countries ) have a cooperative tax agreement whereby only one entity will tax us. As a U.S. citizen our IRS gets first dibs on taxation so you don’t gat double taxed. There are lots of reports available in the IL site providing details on tons of subjects.
