I love watching people try their first steak in Buenos Aires. Of course, they’ve already heard about Argentine beef—who hasn’t these days?

I never thought I would have a facelift, and I certainly never thought I could afford it. But after recent cosmetic surgery, I now look and feel like a 40-year-old again (I’m 60).

Most of our friends and relatives think we’re crazy. We travel a lot and go places they wouldn’t dare to go. We have a lifestyle that works for us, but not necessarily for everyone.

The lights have dimmed and the last strains of music are fading away at the Teatro Solis in Uruguay’s capital of Montevideo.

For a lifestyle change, sun-blessed Barcelona is thrillingly enticing. Few other major European cities can deliver on beauty, style, history, beaches, good weather, and arty bohemianism—and also be within a couple hours of ski slopes.

For once, everyone in the world agrees. Inflation is coming.
