Now that you’ve reserved your place at International Living’s Fast Track conference in Costa Rica this August 16-18, 2018, it’s time to start thinking about the next step: seeing the best real estate on offer in this green and tropical paradise…
You can book real estate tours before and after the conference, covering different areas and property types.
One tour covers the Central Valley. This is where you’ll find Costa Rica’s bustling capital city, San Jose. San Jose has some upscale neighborhoods and gated communities. In the valleys and hills around San Jose, smaller towns and villages abound, each with its own micro-climate. Single-family homes with large yards are the norm here. Some spots, like Atenas, are already home to many expats; others offer relaxed, local-style living.
Another tour takes in the closest stretch of coast to San Jose, the Central Pacific, long a favorite with locals for weekend getaways and vacations.
Costa Rica’s Lake Country is worth a look, if you’ve ever dreamed of owning a water-view home. This is a place where you can do that without breaking the bank.
Finally, the Southern Zone is a stunning corner of Costa Rica, where Pacific waves break on deserted beaches and thick forest hides a wealth of wildlife. There is more land preserved in national parks here than anywhere else in the country. Real estate prices are still low in this locale…for now, at least.
Combining the International Living conference with a real estate tour couldn’t be easier. We asked the real estate agents that we work with to figure out the logistics.
The tours run before and after the conference and cover the following areas:
1. The Southern Zone
2. Arenal (the lake district)
3. The Central Valley
4. The Central Pacific
