Welcome Cocktail Reception Sponsor Brent and Erin are high school sweethearts who grew up in Saskatchewan, Canada before migrating to Alberta in 2001. They started and grew a construction company and invested heavily in real estate. Like most Canadians, Brent and Erin wanted to get away from the cold and snow and trade their winter boots for flip flops. They fell in love with Mexico over 20 years ago, due to its beautiful beaches, short flight time, and authentic, friendly culture. After traveling up and down Mexico’s east and west coasts, they found the Huatulco region and it instantly became their preferred Mexico sun destination. Its pristine beaches, consistently hot temperatures, 340 days of sun, low cost of living, lack of tourist population, and commitment to the environment made it very appealing. They invested in property and decided to make a life change. It was time to make the move to work and live in paradise, leaving the rat race of Calgary behind. Today, Brent and Erin run their own boutique real estate brokerage and vacation rental company out of Huatulco. Huatulco’s oceanfront real estate prices are a fraction of the price of other ocean-side cities. With billions of infrastructure dollars being invested into the state, the timing couldn’t be better to purchase real estate in this Green Globe-certified area. As owners of property in Mexico, Brent and Erin understand some of the frustrations people may have while searching for and purchasing property in a foreign country. They are dedicated to providing an open representation of the area and the buying process for vacation, investment, or retirement homes in Mexico. |
